Our guest today on our virtual pages we have miss Ammeke Namwijit , Thailand model from Bangkok town. Hi Ammeke , thanks for the time you have decided to spend with us.
1.Why did you choose to work as a model?
When I was first contacted by a modeling agency I didn’t take it seriously, as I was a real a tomboy and didn’t really care how I looked. Initially, I thought it would be fun so I decided to give it a go. I’m very creative and I love Art, so I thought of modeling as a way of creating art. It works for me. I enjoy each modeling job I do more and more. It’s like you use your body to draw a picture when doing a photo shoot. Then you focus it on your face more than other parts of your body.
2.Please tell us your feelings about your first shooting?
Before my first photo shoot, I was very excited, but I didn’t think it would turn into a career. I just wanted to get some good pictures taken. Back then, I didn’t take direction, and I was a bit shy.
3.How do you keep your shape? Strict diet, no bread pasta etc?
Fortunately for me, I have a very fast metabolism. Surprisingly, I am never on a diet, I eat lots of junk food and dessert. However, I do try to eat a small meals many times in a day so your body can burn it off faster. My secret is regular yoga exercise.
4.How do you split your time between your normal job and modelling?
My work schedule is all set at the start of the month. If I have a modeling job that clashes with my work schedule, then I can swap shifts with my colleagues.
5. What do you do in your spare time?
Yoga is my main hobby. I try to practice as often as possible. I am very passionate about it, and would like to qualify as a Yoga instructor one day.
As well as exercise, I also like drawing, painting, and occasionally playing my guitar.
6.You did some ads, would you like to work on tv?
Certainly, yes! If the opportunity arose, I would love to do more work in TV, maybe as a presenter or an actress.
7.As you travel a lot, please tell us which country you’d like to live and why?
If I had to choose, I’d say Spain. I love the Spanish culture, and I’ve always been interested in their history. Another goal of mine is to learn to speak Spanish.
8. What are you currently working on?
At the moment, I am trying to boost my internet profile. So if you’re reading this please visit my Facebook page and click like, or follow me on Twitter. I’m constantly updating my photos from the shoots I do, so there are lots for you to check out.
Recently, I have been working with an amazing photographer, Alisa Hubert, who helped me to create some incredibly beautiful photos for my port folio. She also inspired me to take photo shooting more seriously. I have learned so much from her; new ideas, perspectives and how to be more open towards the modeling industry. I started to follow her advice and realized that she was right – you can be anything, you can make your dreams come true if you work hard.
